SING IT LOUD ANNOUNCE REUNION SHOW
Posting from Sing It Loud on Tumblr:
REUNION SHOW - 10.6.12 - Minneapolis
Hello all - Kieren here.
So as you may have noticed, some things have been brewing here in camp SIL.
We are very excited to announce we will be playing a reunion show on
October 6, 2012 in Minneapolis, MN at the new Mill City Nights (ex Club
3-Degrees)!
We
are also very pleased to announce that our good friends Steve Salazar, The
Role Call, Love Out Loud, and William Beckett will be joining us on this
fine evening. Tickets are set to go on sale this Saturday so stay tuned.
We will be doing a VIP ticket bundle that includes early entry and a pre
show acoustic set as well.
We feel bad for all those who will be unable to make it due to the
location, so to all of our amazing fans across the world, we will be
broadcasting the show via Stageit.com!
We could not be more excited to come back together and have another party
with everyone. We have all grown closer since we last played and have been
itching to get back out there. So does this mean another record, tour, etc
etc??? I don’t know. I am so proud of everyone and as you all know,
everyone has grown and gone on to do amazing things since the last show.
We will always support one another and continue to collaborate musically,
so at this point, the door is open and anything is possible!
Please save the date and grab tickets when they go on sale! We want to see
each and every one of you! Also, in true SIL fashion, there will be an
after-party for everyone 18+ and yes, we will be throwing down hard like
we always do. Stay tuned!
Much love,
Kieren, Pat, Ben, Nate, Sickboy
UNDER NONE ANNOUNCE NEW DRUMMER
Under None has recently parted ways with long-time drummer Josh. As is
custom the rest of the band, Andy and Matt have sent out well wishes in
future projects. Under None has recently posted a video of a blurred out
drummer on their Facebook page as part of a contest for fans to guess who
the new Under None kit master is. A few clues have been given out and a
few correct guesses had been posted.
I got the priveledge of making the official announcement of Minnesota
Homegrown's August 12th show. I was very honored to announce that Nick
Molina (aka N.I.C.), formerly of Blue Felix, is sitting on the throne and
is the new drummer and member of Under None. The contest winner grabbed a
pair of passes to the next Under None gig coming up on August 27th at 7th
St Entry, Nick's first gig with the band.
"Everyone, please give Nick a big warm welcome!" - Under None
BONRUD GETS READY FOR SEPTEMBER ALBUM
RELEASE
Minneapolis/Seattle based artist Paul Bonrud is getting ready to drop a
new album for his group Bonrud. For those who aren't familiar with the
group, Bonrud is a melodic-rock project headed by producer and
multi-instrumentalist Paul Bonrud and fronted by Minneapolis'
power-vocalist Rick "Four Octave" Forsgren (Conditioned Response). Paul Higgins
rounds out the group on the kit. Paul Bonrud began working with Rick
Forsgren on "Save Tomorrow" after
relocating to Minnesota.
The anticipated album, "Save Tomorrow" is the result of an impressive
formation of highly experienced musicians known for their collaborative
abilities, as well as the successful pairing of Paul Bonrud and legendary
producer/engineer and six-time Grammy winner Keith Olsen (Fleetwood Mac,
Foreigner, Ozzy Osbourne, Sammy Hagar, etc.). The songs were meticulously
mixed by Keith at Pogologo Studio in California.
Bonrud's new album features drums performed by Washington state's Paul
Higgins and recorded at the famed London Bridge Studio in Seattle (Pearl
Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains). The keyboards were performed by
Richard Baker (Santana, Saga, Gary Wright), Eric Ragno (Graham Bonnet,
Fergie Frederiksen, Jeff Scott Soto), and Dave Gross. The album was
mastered by Steve Hall (Alice in Chains, Madonna, Richard Marx).
"My goal was to make the best album I could with absolutely no compromises
and that is exactly what I did. The songs, production, and performances
are the best of my career and I can't wait for people to hear it," - Paul
Bonrud
The cover art for "Save Tomorrow" was done by comic book artist Adriana
Melo.
ARTWORK AND TRACK LISTING REVEALED FOR
LANCE KING'S NEW ALBUM "A MOMENT IN CHIROS" IN STORES 11/11/11
"Etheric Progressive Power Metal from the former voice of PYRAMAZE,
BALANCE OF POWER, for fans of REDEMPTION, DREAM THEATER and SYMPHONY X
with a nod at greats LED ZEPPELIN"
LANCE
KING is world renowned in the underground as a melodic metal vocalist,
singing on over 25 worldwide releases over the last 21 years. This fact is
impressive in itself, but what is truly special about LANCE is his ability
to morph his voice to fit any mood and intensity of a song, he’s proved
this over the years by adding a very "special something" to every album he
has been a part of.
Said to have the golden touch, LANCE’s voice just seems to connect the
dots making head banging metal also into a good song.
On the last day of June, 2011 LANCE decided to invite some of his musical
friends to co-write songs with him as he ventured into his first solo
album. An act of faith only knowing their work, never working with them
before in creating music. In just two months, those involved had created
an epic masterpiece, quite a feat indeed based on the quality of this
release.
In under three months, “A Moment In Chiros” was mixed and mastered and off
to the presses, perhaps the fasted created music in history? This album
was meant to be out by 11/11/11 and is destined to stand the test of time.
The album's concept is based on the 11:11 time prompt phenomena happening
to over 75 million people around the world, Lance is one of these people,
and has dived in deep to find more about what it’s all about. This album
is one man's journey as a seeker of truth looking for answers to the
world's greatest mysteries.
Lance has chosen "Human Trafficking" (sex slavery), one of the fastest
growing criminal activities worldwide as the charitable cause he would
like to champion, profits from this album will go to efforts to abolish
this slave trade worldwide through an organization called "NOT FOR SALE"!
